Let’s Take a little trip together to the tropics with this Healthy “Kale, Mango and Pineapple Green Smoothie”.
So to make my Kale and Pineapple Green Smoothie, I used Kale; the “King of the Greens”, sweet bananas, juicy pineapple, apple, mango and a touch of coconut milk. All of which makes this smoothie a healthy and nutritious meal.
Why is my “Kale, Mango and Pineapple Green Smoothie” healthy?
Kale is one of the healthiest vegetables around and that is why it is called “King of the Greens”. It is low in calorie, high in fiber and has zero fat. In addition, Kale is high in Iron, Calcium, Vitamin A, K & C. Mangos are rich in minerals and are very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. They are also an excellent source of dietary fiber and vitamin B6, as well as a good source of vitamin A and vitamin C. Pineapple when used fresh, is low in calorie. This delicious tropical fruit is a good source of minerals and vitamins that are essential for optimum health. Apples are one of the healthiest foods a person can eat. They are high in fiber and vitamin C, and they are also low in calories, have only a trace of sodium, and no fat or cholesterol. Creamy, rich, and sweet, bananas are a good source of both vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber.
