What you need to know?
The sweetness of your smoothie depends on the ripeness of the fruit you add. If you find your smoothie recipe needs a little more sweetness, try to avoid sugar and instead opt for a little honey, figs or dates. I seldom find the need to sweeten my smoothies but if I need to do so I personally like to use fresh dates as sweetener. Fresh dates are good source of fiber, potassium and copper while promoting Digestive Health and Relieving Constipation.
If you can, drink your smoothie as soon as you’ve made it to enjoy the freshness and the perfect taste, because if your smoothie sits for 10 minutes or longer, it starts to separate, thicken and the colors will go darker, which will also lead to change in flavor.
- ½ (100g) fresh mango
- 100g fresh strawberries
- 30g fresh raspberries
- 30g fresh blueberries
- 320g fresh sweet melon
- 2 medium bananas
- ¾ cup organic GMO free soy milk
- In a high-speed blender, blend all the ingredients together. Pour the smoothie into a large glass and enjoy!
