I can’t believe it’s already November. One more month and we are celebrating Christmas and welcoming the new year. Sometimes it’s like you blink and a year is gone.
The “Best of October” post is a recap of all the recipes I have cooked, favorites and what I have been up to in the month of October. But before we get into that, I hope you all have been well and have done exciting things in the past month. Maybe travelled somewhere, got a new job, moved to a new place, or tried a new recipe? If so, I would love to hear all about it in the comments section.
October was a busy month for me. I had worked hard in the past month for an important exam. It took time to study but I’m very happy that now it’s done! Between you and me, I am a bit anxious but at the same time excited for the results which will be announced in couple of weeks. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Right after the exam, we started our house hunting project. We need to move out from our current home by end of November. It’s exciting but at the same time requires lots of efforts and plenty of time to find a place that we both love. We now live in a high rise building in the middle of the city surrounded with lakes, plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants and within a walking distance to the beach. But we decided to say our goodbyes to high-rise buddings and the hustle and bustle of the city and move to a house with a quite neighborhood. I am excited for a bigger kitchen and a house with a garden so I can cook and entertain family and friends.
In the past couple of days, I have been busy putting together a list of the neighborhoods that we believe will be a good match for us and starting tomorrow, we will be actively looking to find our new house that we can call our home in Dubai for the next few years 🙂
Above Real Estate images are not my personal work and have been selected from various websites.
HERE IS A RECAP OF ALL THE DELICIOUS RECIPES OF OCTOBER!

We watched House of Cards on Netflix. If you are not familiar with this series, House of Cards is an American Political Drama TV Series based on the novel by Michael Dobbs. Set in present-day Washington, D.C., House of Cards is the story of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), a Democrat from South Carolina’s 5th congressional district and House Majority Whip who, after being passed over for appointment as Secretary of State, initiates an elaborate plan to get himself into a position of greater power, aided by his wife, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright). The series deals primarily with themes of ruthless pragmatism, manipulation, and power.
We also watched Inferno, an American mystery thriller film directed by Ron Howard, based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Dan Brown. The film is the sequel to The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, and stars Tom Hanks, reprising his role as Robert Langdon, alongside Felicity Jones. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I strongly recommend to read the book first before watching the movie as it will help you to understand the thoughts behind some of the scenes in the movie.
Last weekend we went to the cinema to watch The Accountant starring Ben Affleck. The film follows an autistic, small-town certified public accountant who makes his living uncooking the books of dangerous criminal organizations that are experiencing internal embezzlement. The movie is an interesting action thriller that is both entertaining and preposterous.
